

Jenna Nelson is the twenty two-year-old daughter of Michael and Nona Nelson. She has one older brother, Adam and both were born and raised in Garden City, Kansas. Currently, Jenna resides in Hays, KS where she is obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Human Performance. Currently she is a senior at Fort Hays State University helping out the volleyball team as a Student Assistant. Jenna plans to continue her education to receive her master’s degree in Physical Therapy and eventually completing her Doctorate degree.
Jenna grew up riding and training her own horses to pursue her goal in showing and rodeo. Throughout the years she has helped out with the 4-H horse project to get the younger kids involved. Besides helping with 4-H, she has been involved with the Miles of Smiles program in Garden City. The therapeutic horse program helps children with disabilities try a new method of therapy, unlike any other.
Becoming Miss Rodeo Kansas has been a dream of Jenna’s since she was a little girl. She has held many other titles to help prepare her for the opportunity of her life. Holding the title of Miss Rodeo Kansas will open doors like no other opportunity can. She looks forward to representing her state in her future travels.
