We understand that there is a large difference in the ages of contestants for Queen. We assure you that the age of the contestant is not a deciding factor. We have had Queens of all ages. In fact, in 2004 Jessica Anderson of Oklahoma was crowned at age 17 and in 2005 Meridee Haworth of Missouri was crowned at age 24.

*As an incentive for the younger ladies we will be crowning a Miss Teen.  It will work as follows: The contestant between ages 13-17 with the highest total score will be crowned the Miss Teen Colcord IPRA Rodeo Queen… Unless: She is the overall highest scored contestant, then she will be crowned the Miss Colcord IPRA Rodeo Queen.  The next highest scored contestant between ages 13-17 will be crowned the Miss Teen Colcord IPRA Rodeo Queen.  If the Miss Teen’s scores place her as a runner- up for the Queen title then she will be awarded both…the runner-up for the Miss and the title of the Miss Teen.

Each contestant must pay a $100.00 entry fee. You can get a sponsor for your entry fee. We will be more than happy to announce it for you. The entry fee must be sent with the application along with a bust photo in western attire and hat.  Contestant must execute any and all consents, and agree to abide by all rules herein.
